Gerry Rafferty, lead singer on this one, is also responsible for the song with that iconic
saxophone riff called ‘Baker Street’. This one was a very early tune that had a proper
video production including the clowns and jokers spoken of in the lyrics. Until then most
of the videos you might see were of a band playing, or lip syncing on a television program.
Rafferty, a Scot, had a one-hit-wonder with ‘Baker Street’ so if we can grow the business
so as to include a sax player that one is definitely on the list of songs to come.
